Lottery and Tea Fund

Tea Fund 

Apart from tea, coffee, milk and sugar, the Tea Fund is used to purchase washing up liquid, sponges, birthday cards, the Christmas gift for the cleaner and occasionally biscuits, this has very occasionally recently due to the rise in prices of the basics and tea fund contributions not rising. 

Lottery 

The lottery ticket is purchased every 4 weeks, I use lucky dips in case something happens and I fail to buy the ticket. This is the current ticket. We won £30 on 8/12/24, £5 on 26/12/24 and £30 on 2/1/25. This is the most we have won this year although we regularly win lucky dips. I’ll use this page to update the results each month. 

As we have new members of staff who have expressed an interest in joining, I will share out the current balance to those who have contributed in 2024 and start anew in 2025. Currently, contribution to the Tea Fund and Lottery is £5.50 per month, or for just tea fund or just the lottery, it’s £3.50 per month. Yes, there’s a discount for joining both and the cost may reduce as more people join.

Please create a standing order so that I don’t have to chase you for money. I can’t run fast. This account is only used for this purpose and occasional collections. Both Nigel and Jen also have the bank details, and the Lottery account details, just so you know I’m not running off to Rio any time soon. Any interest earned (around 20p a month) is paid back into the Tea Fund.
